DIY Under 5 – Diaper Wipes Containers

I am really excited for this new segment on the blog where I’m going to showing you some quick projects that you can do in under 5 minutes and for under $5.00… I present to you:

Today’s feature is a quick update to diaper wipes containers.  I have at least 3 of these in-use around our home at any given time and I just got tired of staring at them.  Can you say, b-o-r-i-n-g.

I decided to grab some duct tape (wash tape would work as well,) a pair of scissors, and spruce these containers up once and for all.  Just wrap the tape around the outside two times cutting it each time.  Simple and under 5 minutes and under $5.00.

Here’s my completed DIY Under 5:

With so many patterns to choose from, this is a fun project to do around your home.  Think about using colored duct tape and organizing legos pieces, or take a fun rainbow tape and make a crayon storage container for your play room.  What a great way to make these containers serve more purpose in your home once your children outgrow the need for wipes (please tell me it’s by the age of 4 please!?!)

So, grab some duct or washi tape and I promise something as boring as diaper wipe containers won’t seem boring any longer.

Have a DIY Under 5 to share?  Leave a comment, I’d love to see your projects!

Love, Kate
