Arctic Zero® – Fit Frozen Desserts – Review & Giveaway

Spring is here which means warmer weather is upon us, and I can’t wait.  We will all be looking for ways to cool off without too many added calories, and in comes a newer line of frozen desserts including Arctic Zero®.  Today I will be sharing more about them PLUS you have a chance to win some of your very own Arctic Zero desserts delivered right to your doorstep by entering the giveaway via the Rafflecopter at the bottom of this post.

I was first introduced to Arctic Zero at the Winter Fancy Food Show and I was pleasantly surprised by how tasty their products are without all the added calories of a “typical” frozen dessert.

I really excited to try Arctic Zero at the show because I must admit I have passed by the frozen dessert aisle confused about all the different options that now exist.

If you haven’t heard of Arctic Zero they have a line of “fit frozen desserts” in both pints and bars.  You can check out all of their flavors on their product page online, and I’ll talk about them below as well!

Arctic Zero is really creamy and delicious, but it’s not ice cream, since it doesn’t contain milk or cream…it’s whey protein-based and lactose free. It’s also GMO free and low sugar and many flavors are gluten free as well.

When the box arrived with the dessert I couldn’t wait to dig into the box! Arctic Zero will deliver to your doorstep like they did to mine too.  Everything arrived packaged in dry ice and would have lasted many, many hours on my doorstep.

Arctic Zero is the pioneer of Fit Frozen Desserts without all the fat or calories. Handcrafted from premium ingredients, Arctic Zero® is low glycemic, lactose free, gluten free (most flavors), GMO free and kosher. It’s the perfect zero-guilt pleasure whenever your sweet tooth strikes.

The first of the flavors I tried was Hint of Mint, and this ranks second in my favorites of those I tried.  This one describes itself as “Rich Chocolate with a Hint of Mint.”  Okay, so it’s sort of like a frozen dessert version of a Thin Mint® Cookie.  If you love chocolate and mint then this one is for you!

The next flavor I went for was Cake Batter.  I will admit that I have never had a cake batter flavored dessert before, and this one I wasn’t a big fan of.  It was slightly too sweet tasting for me, but I can definitely see why it would appeal to others.  If cake batter is your thing I definitely encourage you to try it, but for me, it was my least favorite of the flavors I tried.

Oh, Brownie Blast, I’d rate you my third favorite of the flavors I tried.  The chunks were awesome.  Brownie bites and chocolate chips in dark chocolate.  I almost felt like I was eating from a sheet of brownies with this flavor, but this was much easier to pull from my freezer and dig into… and without as many calories.

To create Arctic Zero’s subtle sweetness, they use a proprietary blend of monk fruit and organic cane sugar, and you won’t find any artificial sweeteners in their products!

Monk fruit is a small melon that’s harvested from the subtropical hillsides of Asia and gets its name from the Buddhist monks who have been enjoying its health benefits for centuries. A natural sweetener that’s low glycemic and rich in antioxidants, the pulp of each monk fruit is roughly 150 times sweeter than sugar!

Up next is Salted Caramel.  For all the salted caramel fans, this one is for you.  Golden caramel with a touch of sea salt.  It’s smooth, sweet, and salty.  Ranking fifth on my list, I do like that it’s not too salty like some salted caramel flavors.

Ranking fourth for me was the Cookie Dough Chip flavor.  Vanilla flavor with chunks of cookie dough and chocolate chips.  This one was a close tie with the Brownie Blast flavor.  Something about the brownies just won me over though.

And, last but not least is my favorite of the flavors that I tried, Cherry Chocolate Chunk.  This one is cherries and dark chocolate swirled in vanilla, and was also the favorite of my husband.  I’m giving this flavor an A+.  It was just sweet enough and was very refreshing.  This is one of the new  Arctic Zero flavors and they nailed it with this one for sure!  I’ll be sure to grab this for my hubby and I next time I’m at the grocery store.

With just 150 calories in a full creamy pint and 300 calories in a full chunky pint, Arctic Zero is perfect for those who want to satisfy a craving without guilt…or for people with dietary restrictions.

Arctic Zero is available at stores nationwide, check our store locator online to find in a store near you, and you can also order their products directly online if they aren’t available in a store near you!  This is how I received mine and they arrived frozen and packed in dry ice.

Enter below to win 6 pints of Arctic Zero and some fun branded items too!  Good luck! (Please note, Arctic Zero is delivered on dry ice so we will need to coordinate the delivery date to confirm that someone will be present to sign for the package.)
