$50 BuyCostumes.com Halloween Giveaway

Last year for my daughters first Halloween I decided to DIY our costumes and they didn’t turn out quite as expected…. We were participating in a local Halloween-themed running race with some old friends so I needed something comfy that I could run in.  While my daughter was supposed to be a flower and me the sun I kept getting mistaken for big bird… and, honestly, I did look like big bird – thats not a compliment is it?!?

I agreed with my husband and we decided that we would change our costumes for Halloween – we attended both a parade and did a little trick-or-treating with our new costumes.

My husband wanted my daughter to be a duck all along, her first animal sound was a duck, so I gave in and we purchased her a new costume a week before Halloween… and I decided on another DIY costume of a bird of a different color (and not Big Bird!)

So you don’t get mistaken for something like I did, you can enter to win a $50 store credit to BuyCostumes.com below!   …and, yes, they have Frozen costumes!

Do you dress-up for Halloween?  Or just leave it to the kids?
