Happy Earth Day Week!
Earth Day is officially tomorrow, April 22nd, so this week my blog will be focused around ways to “Go Green!”
Recently I was a co-chair for my Women’s Groups 2nd Annual Green Fair held last month. Our Green Fair is open to the public and focuses on learning ways to help the environment and meeting area businesses that are passionate for treating the earth gently. We had a great turnout for the event and also handed out reusable green tote bags for all attendees.
Inside each tote bag I put together a wonderful flyer which I wanted to share with you all this Earth Day week titled 25 easy ways to go green! Often times people ask what they can do to help the environment and these are 25 simple things you can do on a daily and weekly basis. As an added bonus many of them will help you save money too!
Have you tried any of these? I do practice all of these, but I will admit, sometimes #23 is not on my list – once and a while you just need a long hot shower to unwind!
Tomorrow on the blog I will be sharing two fun upcycled projects that you can do with the kids using old juice and milk cartons and tin cans. How are you “going green” this Earth Day? Please comment with any other useful tips you have!
